Since September 2005, 3 guarantees have been bundled with the Atout Castorama card in France: the Manufacturer’s extended warranty, purchase cover and above all the novel ‘right to make a mistake’.

The latter covers mistaken measurements when cutting in-store or on items made to measure, as well as cuts made by the consumer at home with any type of tool. For instance: a consumer orders a made-to-measure window and on delivery realizes he made a mistake in his measurements. No problem, he is refunded.
