    The products

Both power and water utility companies are experiencing or discovering growing competition. SPB’s services include insurance, assistance and even services, helping utility companies gain a competitive edge and nurture their customer relationships.

    Consulting
As energy markets open up to competition, and in order to address the concerns of operators now having to differentiate their offers, SPB has been led to provide consulting services on the feasibility and benefits of rolling out dedicated programmes.

    Insurance/assistance
Novel programmes have been thought up on behalf of major providers in the energy sector, including:
    -  repair assistance: boiler assistance (annual maintenance, provision of a carbon monoxide detector (CO patch), call-out repairs and other services), electricity assistance (covering damage caused by the failure of electrical installations)
guaranteed payment of gas, water and electricity bills in case major life events (such as death, disablement, unemployment etc).

    SPB’s strong points

    • Capacity to manage programmes for very large numbers
    •  Innovative programmes to secure the loyalty of residential customers on a deregulated energy market

    Services
To extend its home assistance offering, SPB has developed a range of home security services, including:
    - Allo Tuyau, a clever service offered by the leading French provider of mains gas connection pipes, whereby the end customer is reminded of the expiry date of his pipe, thereby avoiding him having a defective and therefore potentially dangerous pipe. A concept thought up and managed by SPB.
    - The CO patch, a carbon monoxide detection patch supplied under the boiler assistance programme.

All these new partnerships have led to the introduction of new management processes at SPB: setting up networks of specialists (repairmen, heating engineers, electricians etc) and constantly monitoring their services.
