21/09/2007 - SwissLife chooses SPB to manage its new loan insurance contract

SwissLife launched SLGE, a loan insurance contract, for its network in July. Managed by SPB, the new policy is aimed at consumer and business borrowers. It features:

- a high level of cover: in the event of death or total, permanent and irreversible disability, the guarantee can cover up to €10 million;

- a keenly competitive rate structure, with coverage tailored to the borrower's age and professional activity. Preferential rates apply to non-smokers;

- quick and simple sign-up, with a streamlined medical evaluation procedure.

The SLGE contract complies with French government recommendations on loans and insurance for people with health risks (the AERAS convention).

SPB, which managed SwissLife's previous loan insurance contract, has set up a special extranet for the SLGE policy. The agents in the SwissLife network can use this facility for rate-making and to give quotes on line.
