    16/11/2009 - SPB extends Lyonnaise des Eaux’s Dolce Ô service range



    There is a little known fact. The maintenance of your commodity lines – water, gas, electricity – is under supplier’s responsibility except for that part between your home and the meter.

    That last part is under the home owner’s responsibility. In this respect, the owner is sole responsible for any damages this segment may suffer. Every year, 2 million homes are faced with water leak problems and must bare the costs of degradation, over-consumption and repairs of the line.

    Water leakage insurance and assistance, launched by Lyonnaise des Eaux and SPB now protects individuals against bad surprises.  It offers both insurance services (refund of over-consumption due to accidental leakage) and assistance (repair assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, legal home information…). There are several levels of coverage to choose from: upon subscription, the beneficiary can choose the package that best suits their expectations between the Standard offer, the Plus offer and the Premium offer. This latter package also covers home assistance for gas and electricity in addition to water.

    The water leakage insurance and assistance designed by SPB is part of the new Dolce Ô service range recently introduced by water company Lyonnaise des Eaux.
